I recently dug into the data for every home sold in Michigan so far this year to see how my listing strategy stacks up.
I divided the data into 3 sets: All of Michigan; Ottawa County; and My Listings.

Here’s what I found:👀
% of sales price over listing price: 
All of Michigan: 1.6% over asking on average
Ottawa County: 2.5% over asking on average
My Listings: 12.3% over asking on average!🤯

Wowzers! That’s exciting!🤩
My listings have sold for 10.7% higher than the Michigan average and 9.8% higher than the average for Ottawa County!
9.8%!
If you list your home for $500k, 9.8% is $49k more in your pocket! That’s a lotta dough!💰
